The Wall : Padlet!

Updated: Dec 20, 2019

Hey there, how's it going?

This week our assignment was to create a wall. Yup. You've read it right. It's not a real wall, though. Our teacher asked us to create a Padlet, but I decided to call it a wall because it's like a platform where a group of teachers or students can share anything they want to share. To be more clear, let's look at how Mr.Google describes what a Padlet is :

I used to have a corkboard in my room and it looks just like a version of a Padlet that isn't digital. Just like using a corkboard have some advantages like not having to memorize anything, Padlet also has its advantages. Firstly as a student, we can create a group Padlet about the things we want to work on and share everything we have learned on the same page. As a teacher, we can use Padlet when we give homework to our students. They can research their topics benefiting from the sources we put on Padlet.

With our group, we discussed the topic of Traffic. Since it's also a huge problem in our city, Istanbul, we wanted to raise awareness on points such as how to reduce the traffic holdup and how kind of health problems that traffic leads us to.
